Not leaves

Those are not leaves on the trees. It is thousands of birds that landed in the trees. The noise they made was almost deafening. They were not there long and off they went. The movie "Birds" came to mind.

Got ya

I have been watching these guys for days and finally got a close up. I think he was actually posing for me.

Oh say can you see

Ludden has been invaded with eagles. It is an amazing site. There are both brown and bald eagles. I am not sure how long they will be around but I sure have enjoyed watching them.

Not funny Mother Nature

Mother nature dropped another 9 inches of snow on us last night. Like the rest of us, these poor red winged blackbirds were not impressed either. Spring where are you, we need you.

The eagle has landed

The eagles have started to come back. Spence called today and said there were 6 or 7 by the farm. This one was the only one close enough to get a picture . My lens was at its max.

Black and white

Spence asked me why I take some pictures in black and white. I don't. It was a black and white day. This is exactly what it looked like outside.

Little helper

When Dylan goes out the door Sutton is grabbing his coat to go along. Today he got to help move hay bales. As long as the tractor keeps moving he is a happy camper.

Is spring here?

They say it's spring when you see the first robin. I think it's when the geese arrive. The geese have landed. I love geese and happy to see them back.

Oh deer

With all the snow, the deer are having a hard time finding anything to eat. They moved into our yard looking for food.

It's a begining

I started a new quilt. Only 42 more blocks to go.
